New BRAND and WEBSITE on way

Pudding Mill River have been beavering away on new produce and getting themselves and their original branding into the 21st century whilst retaining the core brand values and aesthetic they have enjoyed for generations. After toying with a rebrand in response to their Olympic site eviction and the blue fence as a symbol of this exclusion they have returned to their roots as a classic and established firm with a timeless look and taste. The new website will be launched in 2010 but for now here's a sneak preview.

Discover the Greenway

The Pudding Mill River team had a great time on the Greenway this Saturday 25th July taking part in the Discover the Greenway event. Sarah Dixon joined us and ran an amazing botanical expedition and you can find more detail about the plants collected on her blog. Pudding Mill River's blackberry range (from fairy and crumble cakes to jam and vodka) went down a treat and it was a great chance to test out the new branding which is currently being worked on ready for the launch of the new website www.puddingmillriver.com in the monthes to come where the history, ethos, product range, events and future factory opening pland will be explained and presented in more detail.

Wild Christmas Party

Well, not that wild but certainly with some of our wild fruits. Pudding Mill River revisited the Senior Building Exploratory Explorers to screen films and discuss the Olympic regeneration programme whilst eating our trademark 'Bow Back Blackberry Cake' and sampling the first and ultimate 'Olympic Spirit' of the season in the form of our special sloe gin.

It has been noted that Pudding Mill River has rather disappeared off the blogosphere of late. Well....with our intensive harvesting over for this year we have indeed gone underground for these cold winter months. Patrols from Pudding Mill River are however constantly monitoring the action around the blue fence and keeping a particular eye on the Greenway as the construction work continues apace around and above the waterway from which we take our name. Stores of precious Olympic spirit are fermenting nicely under the watchful eye of scientists at our HQ and regular planning meetings are being held for our reemergence into the public arena with the first bloom of spring.
Video messages from CEO Professor Kronos Adam will appear here shortly.

Senior BEES explore the olympic site

A member of the Pudding Mill team led the Senior BEES - Building Exploratory Senior Explorers - on a walk from Hackney Wick, along the Greenway looking out over the Olympic construction site and back through Fish Island. Pudding Mill River produce was available for sampling as the group stopped for a snack with a prime view of the site before heading off to The Griddlers Cafe where nettle tea was suplimented by builders tea. Pudding Mill River will be back at the Building Exploratory to host a party with a bit of Christmas and Olympic spirit combined and some film screenings from around the olympic zone on December 5th.
